Working as part of our small kitchen team to prepare light lunches for our busy Cafe inside the Cambridge University Botanic Garden.

The menu is light and fresh with an focus on soups, salads, wraps, filled baguettes and jacket potatoes through the winter.

We are busy year round, although in winter months we are weather dependant. We have c80 indoor seats and over 100 outside.

The regular shift is 9am -4pm Saturday, Sunday, Monday one week, then off the following week. If you are looking for more hours we have events and holiday cover throughout the year.

Teamwork is key in our small but busy kitchen, and we are looking for someone who blends well with our team and who\'s attitude and personality is a good match. Cooking from our standardised recipes, we expect you to be proficient in the kitchen but having the right attitude and being a hard worker is more important to us than bringing Gordon Ramsey vibes.

You should have good knowledge of food hygiene and allergy regulations.
