We are currently seeking a proactive and organised Project Co-Ordinator in Kilmarnock to join our Sales and Project department. This is a key position within our business, acting as the main point of contact for our UK customers, providing quotations, processing orders, and supporting ongoing projects.

SKILLS

  • Previous experience in a sales support, project coordination, or customer service role
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Technical aptitude or willingness to learn about our product range
  • Ability to build strong working relationships internally and externally
  • Confident working in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment
  • IT literate with experience using order processing or CRM systems

DESIRABLE

  • Experience working within a technical or manufacturing environment

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process customer orders and raise purchase orders for project-related items
  • Prepare quotations and technical documentation for customer projects
  • Advise customers on pricing, lead times, delivery dates, and product suitability
  • Liaise with suppliers and technical support to ensure customer requirements are met
  • Assist with customer complaints and raise discrepancy forms as required
  • Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell complementary products
  • Support Key Account Managers and Market Sector Managers with project delivery
  • Conduct proactive sales calls to enhance orders and customer engagement
  • Use internal systems to raise quotes, place orders, and confirm purchase orders

WORKING HOURS:

37.5 hours per week, Monday – Thursday 0815-1700, Friday 0830-1600
