Are you passionate about customer service? Do you love to speak with people on a daily basis and provide an excellent service? We have an exciting opportunity that has arisen at our Swift Go depot in Stockport! As Hire Coordinator you will support the Depot Manager in meeting the administrative demands of the business, maintaining accurate information in spreadsheets and using bespoke support software.
You will liaise with customers at the enquiry stage by email and over the phone, offering practical product advice and dealing with booking amendments. You will also be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service in a face to face capacity. You will greet customers as they arrive and complete necessary rental administration, including licence checks and taking deposit payments, before conducting a handover demonstration to explain the features and functions of the Motorhome.
You will also be required to check vehicles in and carry out a damage inspection on return, charging where appropriate in consultation with the Depot Manager. A flexible attitude is needed as there will be times when other tasks, such as cleaning and valeting vehicles, become a greater priority. All necessary training and supervision will be provided.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Personable with excellent customer service skills
- Face to face selling and/or hospitality experience preferable
- Excellent verbal and written communicator
- Good administration skills with attention to detail
- Resilient & enthusiastic
- Must have own transport or be able to make sufficient arrangements to ensure reliable attendance and time keeping
- Must hold a full UK driving license
WORKING HOURS
Working Hours: 37.5 hrs per week, 08.30am to 04:30pm
Work Patterns: November to March – largely Monday to Friday; April to October – there will be a requirement to work most Saturdays and Bank Holidays. Lieu days will be accrued for weekend & Bank Holiday hours worked.
