We are currently expanding our team and seeking additional Quality Champions to join Team Swift. As a Quality Champion, your primary responsibility will be to uphold the highest quality standards across all our products. This will involve conducting thorough product and process audits. To thrive in this role, you should possess a solid understanding of caravan manufacturing and assembly processes. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the popularity of the British staycation industry while working in a dynamic and fast‑paced modern environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct scheduled process audits and provide constructive reports on findings.
- Ensure day‑to‑day audit trails are maintained to ensure compliance with agreed quality standards.
- Proactively contribute to improvement initiatives and campaigns.
- Identify and address any instances of poor assembly practices or defective products, working with the team to find immediate resolutions.
- Monitor and ensure process compliance, offering suggestions for continuous improvement.
- Ensure adherence to ISO 9001 and Quality Systems.
- Foster positive working relationships with various departments within the organization.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- Solid understanding of the importance of processes and their impact on product quality.
- Previous experience in Quality Inspection or Quality Control roles.
- Working knowledge of quality tools.
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent qualifications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and general computer literacy.
- Strong interpersonal skills with exceptional attention to detail.
£36,308 per annum
Hours: 39 hours per week
27 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays – Early finish Friday; 2.5 day weekend – Easy access to site & free on‑site parking available – Swift Academy – Health & Wellbeing
