We are seeking a highly organised and detail-driven Training Coordinator to support our manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for coordinating, overseeing, and assuring training and competency across a complex production environment, including composite manufacturing, GRP processes, CNC machining, and assembly. You will play a key role in ensuring all employees are trained, authorised, and competent to carry out their work safely and effectively, in line with standardised processes, quality requirements, and production plans. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is methodical, compliance-focused, and proactive in identifying and addressing training needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate training and competency across manufacturing processes, including composite and GRP lay-up, trimming, bonding, finishing, paint preparation, CNC machining, and assembly.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date skills and versatility matrices across all manufacturing areas.
- Ensure all operatives are trained, assessed, and recorded against the correct processes and work instructions.
- Monitor skills coverage to maintain production capability and resilience across teams and shifts.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of standardised work practices.
- Ensure training aligns with current SOPs, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Coordinate retraining following process updates, engineering changes, or quality concerns.
- Work closely with the People team to support onboarding, inductions, and development of new starters and apprentices.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Health.
