As part of a major business transformation programme, Swift is implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance & Supply Chain Management, Field Service and Power BI), replacing a bespoke business system that has supported the organisation for more than 20 years.
We are now seeking an ERP Systems Superuser – Production to become a key member of our Manufacturing team, supporting the successful adoption, optimisation and continuous improvement of our new ERP platform.
The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced ERP user with a manufacturing background to become the subject matter expert for Dynamics 365 within our Production and Manufacturing functions.
You will play a critical role in ensuring the effective day-to-day operation of the system, supporting colleagues, identifying process improvements and acting as the vital link between operational teams and IT.
Working closely with Business Analysts and key stakeholders across the business, you will help ensure our new ERP solution delivers maximum value, efficiency and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- ERP Process Ownership
- Take ownership of end-to-end process flow within Dynamics 365 for Production and Manufacturing.
- Monitor system performance and process effectiveness, identifying bottlenecks, failures and inefficiencies.
- Use data and operational insight to drive improvements that enhance productivity and reduce delays.
- Ensure adherence to standardised processes and best practice within the ERP environment.
- System Monitoring and Issue Resolution
- Monitor and troubleshoot ERP-related system activities and background processing.
• Support critical manufacturing processes including
- Works Order creation and completion
- Production and inventory transactions
- Costing processes
- Asset status management
• Investigate and resolve issues relating to
- Data quality
- System configuration and parameters
- Transaction failures
- Process flow disruptions
- Escalate complex issues appropriately while ensuring minimal impact on operations.
- User Support and Training
- Act as the first point of contact for Dynamics 365 queries within Production and Manufacturing.
- Provide first-line support and troubleshooting for day-to-day system issues.
- Support user onboarding and training activities.
- Coach colleagues on system best practice and promote consistent use of Dynamics 365.
- Encourage high standards of transactional accuracy and compliance.
- Continuous Improvement and Change
- Work closely with IT Business Analysts to identify and implement process improvements.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system enhancements and upgrades.
- Validate that system changes meet operational requirements.
- Assist with business readiness activities for system releases and process changes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that improve efficiency and user experience.

Essential Knowledge and Experience
- Experience working within a Manufacturing or Production environment.
- Practical experience using ERP systems as part of a day-to-day operational role.
- Good understanding of manufacturing business processes and workflows.
- Experience supporting users and acting as a key point of contact for system-related queries.
- Understanding of data accuracy, process compliance and reporting requirements.
Desirable Experience
- Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management.
- Involvement in ERP implementations, upgrades or business transformation projects.
- Experience supporting process improvement initiatives within a manufacturing environment.
