Bo M & Master Data Analyst - 12 month fixed term contract

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Bill of Materials and Master Data Analyst to join our team and support the successful delivery of our ERP implementation project.

This role will play a pivotal part in shaping and maintaining the integrity of product data across engineering and production functions.

This role is not only operational but also consultative—bringing best practice insights to the creation, governance, and evolution of Bills of Materials (Bo Ms) and master data structures.

The successful candidate will be a key contributor to our digital transformation journey, ensuring that data foundations are robust, scalable, and aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise on optimal Bo M structures and master data governance aligned with ERP capabilities and manufacturing / assembly industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data ownership, workflows, and validation protocols.
  • Support the development of scalable data models that accommodate future growth and product complexity.
  • Create, maintain, and validate Bo Ms and master data across legacy and ERP platforms.
  • Manage engineering change documentation and support ECR processes.
  • Assist in data migration activities, ensuring accuracy and completeness during transition to ERP and PLM systems.
  • Conduct audits and quality checks to ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulations.
  • Partner with Engineering, Supply Chain, Production, and IT to resolve data-related issues and improve workflows.
  • Provide training and guidance to internal teams on data processes, tools, and standards.
  • Maintain clear documentation of product data, changes, and governance processes.
  • Provide basic training or guidance on project tools and processes to team members.
  • Adhere to Swift Group policies and procedures and be an advocate of our EPIC Core values.
  • Required Skills and Qualifications

Requirements

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data handling.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Management, or related field preferred.
  • Previous involvement in ERP/PLM implementations and/or data migration projects.
  • Hands-on experience with legacy systems and transitioning to new platforms.
  • Background in manufacturing or engineering environments preferred.

Technical Skills

  • Proven experience in Bo M creation, Master Data management, and ERP/PLM systems

(e. g., Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle).

  • Strong understanding of engineering change processes and documentation standards.
  • Experience in training or onboarding teams to new systems and processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across departments.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools; experience with Dev Ops, Jira, or similar tools is a plus.
