Swift Group is recruiting a Qualified Systems Supervisor (QS) to play a critical role in maintaining the technical standard, safety and quality of all electrical and systems installations across our world-class leisure vehicle portfolio. Reporting directly to the Engineering Director, you’ll work closely with our manufacturing and engineering teams to ensure our caravans, motorhomes and holiday homes are built On Time In Full (OTIF) and to our exacting quality standards. With the continued growth of the British staycation market, this is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, EPIC, dynamic and modern manufacturing environment.
About the Role
As Qualified Systems Supervisor, you will:
- Supervise and monitor all electrical and systems work, ensuring compliance with legislation and industry standards
- Ensure inspection, testing and certification are completed accurately and maintained correctly
- Maintain calibration and upkeep of all test equipment
- Provide hands-on technical support to electricians, apprentices, engineers and managers to resolve issues quickly and prevent incomplete products leaving the production line
- Mentor and develop electricians and apprentices, raising inspection and testing standards
- Identify training needs and ensure ongoing competence across the workforce
- Carry out audits, periodic inspections and quality checks, addressing compliance issues
- Support warranty investigations, including dealer visits where required
NICEIC & Compliance Responsibilities
- Act in line with NICEIC Approved Contractor Scheme and EAS requirements
- Work closely with the Principal Duty Holder (PDH) to ensure clear responsibilities and compliance
- Maintain NICEIC registration and prepare for annual assessments and audits
- Validate, compile and sign off electrical certification (EICRs, Installation Certificates, Minor Works)
- Represent Swift Group during NICEIC audits and technical discussions

What We’re Looking For
Essential Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Systems & Equipment (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
- Inspection & Testing / Initial Verification (C&G 2391 or equivalent)
- Demonstrable experience supervising electrical work and interpreting test results
Desirable Qualifications
- ECS Gold Card
- IOSH or NEBOSH
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience overseeing electrical and systems installations
- Strong practical, hands-on technical capability
- Confident, driven self-starter with a solutions-focused mindset
- Excellent communication skills with the confidence to challenge on quality and safety
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced production environment
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience as a NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor
- Commercial or industrial electrical installation experience
- Familiarity with NICEIC audits and compliance frameworks
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems
