At Team Swift, we are looking for TWO talented Manufacturing Engineers to join our growing team and play a key role in supporting the efficient build of high-quality caravans, motorhomes and holiday homes.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a business producing circa:
- 2,000 holiday homes
- 2,000 motorhomes annually
As part of the role, you will:
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical production issues
- Drive continuous improvement and waste reduction initiatives
- Support engineering change activities and process improvements
- Develop and maintain technical standards and SOPs
- Work cross-functionally with Logistics, SQA and Product Engineering teams
- Support Lean Manufacturing and quality-focused initiatives
- Help improve production efficiency, quality and OTIF performance
We’re looking for candidates with:
- Manufacturing Engineering experience within caravan, automotive or similar industries
- CAD knowledge or drawing office experience
- Knowledge of BOMs and engineering change systems
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma methodologies
- A proactive mindset with the ability to work under pressure
- HNC/HND or Degree in Engineering
- ISO 9001 Quality Management knowledge
