Burstwick Freight Services are currently recruiting for experienced Non HGV 7500gvw drivers to deliver touring caravans throughout the UK. The depot is based within the Swift group production facility in Cottingham.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver touring caravans throughout the UK.
- Have a proven track record of safe driving (max 6 points).
- Full training will be provided; experience delivering caravans is not essential.
- Experience of the UK road network is advantageous.
- Prepared to spend 2 to 3 nights away from site plus occasional Saturday (night sleepers with heaters).
Essential Requirements:
- Current Digital & CPC Driver card with minimum of 2 years left.
- Category C1E Driving License (Category B licence prior to 01 Jan 1997).
- Must be prepared to spend some nights away from home (vehicles are fitted with full sleeper cabs and night heaters).
- Committed, hardworking and reliable.
- Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday morning work.
- Working hours are governed by EU driving and working hours.
- 2 to 3 nights away from site plus the occasional Saturday.
