HGV Class 2 Driver

Job Summary
Swift Fuels are a fuel distribution company based in Downpatrick Co Down. We are seeking a skilled and reliable Class 2 HGV Driver to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to our domestic and commercial customers. The role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to manage routes efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate road fuel tankers for the safe delivery of goods to various locations.
• Plan and manage delivery routes to optimise efficiency and minimise delays.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, and delivery receipts.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
• Adhere to all company policies, traffic and safety regulations while on the road.
• This role does involve a level of physical aptitude.

Requirements

• Previous HGV experience desirable.
• ADR experience is advantageous but not essential. Full training can be provided to successful applicants if necessary.
• A valid clean Class2 driving licence and a full valid CPC
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage time efficiently is required.
• Sound communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
