Swift Education are working in partnership with a highly regarded specialist SEND school to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic SEND Teacher within key-stage 2 for a permanent position starting in September. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated team supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs, including Autism. The SEND Teacher Role
You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons to Key Stage 2 pupils within a specialist SEND setting. The role requires a creative, adaptable and proactive teacher who can provide a structured and nurturing learning environment tailored to individual needs.
The Ideal Candidate for this SEND Teacher role will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) essential
- Previous experience teaching pupils with SEND, particularly autism
- The ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs
- The energy and enthusiasm to participate in a practical, active school environment
Due to the nature of the role and the needs of the pupils, candidates should be comfortable working in a physically active setting and be able to support pupils throughout the school day.
