The Role
- Full-time Key Stage 2 Teacher within a specialist SEND provision
- Teaching a small class of up to 6 pupils with Autism and additional needs
- Planning and delivering highly differentiated, engaging lessons tailored to individual EHCPs
- Supporting pupils’ academic progress as well as social, emotional, and communication development
- Working closely with a skilled team of Teaching Assistants and therapists
- Creating a calm, structured, and positive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with pupils with Autism and/or SEND (in mainstream or specialist settings)
- A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach to teaching
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills
- A genuine passion for inclusive education and supporting diverse learning needs
