Swift Education are working in partnership with a specialist SEND school in North West London to recruit an experienced and ambitious Maths Teacher to join their team from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing specialist provision that opened last year and supports students across KS2–KS4 with Autism, associated learning needs, and Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN). The school has capacity for 50 students and offers a highly personalised and nurturing learning environment.
The successful candidate will take a leading role within the Maths department, helping to shape and develop the maths curriculum across the school. This position would suit an experienced Maths Teacher looking to take the next step into leadership within a supportive and forward-thinking SEND setting.
The Maths Teacher Role
- Deliver engaging and differentiated Maths lessons across KS2–KS4
- Lead the development of the Maths curriculum and departmental resources
- Support students with Autism and additional learning needs to achieve positive outcomes
- Work collaboratively with therapists, support staff, and senior leaders
- Contribute to the continued growth and development of the school
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds a recognised teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent)
- Has proven experience teaching within UK schools
- Has experience working within SEND settings
- Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and curriculum planning skills
- Has knowledge of alternative Maths qualifications, including Functional Skills (desirable)
- Is passionate about inclusive education and supporting students with additional needs
- Is ready to step into or further develop within a leadership role
