Swift Education is proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming, community-focused faith-based primary school in Colliers Wood to recruit a passionate and dedicated Family Support Worker for a mid-May to early June start. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is committed to supporting children and families, helping to create a safe, stable, and positive environment where pupils can thrive both at home and in school.

The Role

  • You will work closely with pupils, families, and staff to provide practical and emotional support, helping to remove barriers to learning and improve overall wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build strong, trusting relationships with children, parents, and carers
  • Provide practical support around routines, behaviour, and home life
  • Carry out regular check-ins and home visits where required
  • Support pupils’ attendance, engagement, and emotional wellbeing
  • Work alongside school staff and external agencies to coordinate support
  • Identify safeguarding concerns and follow appropriate procedures
  • Maintain clear and accurate records of support provided
