Swift Education is proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming and community-focused secondary school in Merton to recruit a confident and dedicated Cover English Teacher from 12th June until the end of the academic year, with the potential for the role to continue into September. The Role

  • You will take responsibility for teaching English lessons across the school, delivering high-quality cover and ensuring pupils remain engaged, supported, and progressing in their learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Maintain strong classroom management and positive learning routines
  • Support pupils’ academic progress and confidence in English
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and the wider department
  • Follow school policies around behaviour, safeguarding, and assessment

The Ideal Candidate Will Have
