Swift Clean Handyman, part of the Maintenance group, has been maintaining commercial, industrial, educational, and other facilities since 2019. We are expanding and need a motivated leader for our team in Oakville.
Position Details
- Work Hours: 8‑hour shift, Monday‑Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM (full‑time, permanent)
- Location: Burlington, Ontario (relocation allowed)
- Starting Pay: $18.50‑$19.00 per hour (subject to increase and benefits after probation)
- Start Date: ASAP
- Legal Requirement: Must be legally able to work in Canada or have a Canadian work permit; a police background check is mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of cleaning tasks: touchpoint disinfection, dusting, sweeping, mopping, auto‑scrubber/Zamboni operation, moving furniture, cleaning washrooms, offices, common areas, and lunchrooms.
- Empty waste containers and maintain site security, including locking up and setting alarms.
- Handle floor maintenance – stripping and waxing during summer months.
- Operate with minimal supervision while collaborating daily with staff and supervisors.
- Complete additional tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of cleaning experience.
- At least 1 year of stripping and waxing floors.
- Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to work independently.
