Join a fast-moving automotive team. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Master Technician to join our busy and well-established car sales. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in high standards, works efficiently under pressure, and can keep the workshop running.
About the Role
As a Master Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, servicing, and preparing a wide range of vehicles for retail sale and customer delivery. You will play a key role in maintaining vehicle quality, supporting junior technicians, and ensuring workshop productivity stays at full throttle.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of vehicles
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment
- Complete vehicle health checks and pre-delivery inspections
- Ensure all vehicles meet safety and quality standards before sale
- Support and mentor junior technicians where required
- Maintain accurate job records and workshop documentation
- Work efficiently to meet deadlines in a high-volume environment
- Follow all health and safety procedures
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Master Technician or Senior Vehicle Technician
- Relevant automotive qualifications (Level 3 NVQ or equivalent preferred)
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Experience working in a busy environment
- MOT licence preferred but not essential
- Full UK driving licence
- Excellent attention to detail
