Level 3 Early Years Apprentice

Responsibilities

• Work towards a Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship.
• Support the development of the childcare provision.
• Provide an excellent range of activities that ensure the child learns whilst having fun.
• Be a team player.
• Provide challenging and stimulating activities for all children.
• Take part in First Aid training as required.
• Ensure equal opportunity in delivery, access and attitude in all aspects of service delivery.
• Collaborate with teams across the nursery setting.
• Support children’s learning and development.
• Prepare and maintain the environment and resources for the children.
• Prepare food for breakfast, snack and afternoon tea.
• Support children’s self‑help needs.
• Be creative and enthusiastic.
• Follow safeguarding rules and regulations and meet the standards of the Childcare Apprenticeship.

Apprenticeship Details

The Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship lasts 14 months. You will work full‑time in the nursery, attend online classroom days as a remote session, and complete your on‑site apprenticeship at a local nursery.

You will need Maths and English GCSE at Grade 4 or above (or equivalent Functional Skills Level 2) and be living in the UK for a minimum of 3 years to be eligible.
