Childcare Apprentice – Level 3 Early Years Educator

Location: KT16 8AN

Working hours: 30–40 hours per week

Wage: National Apprenticeship Wage. The pay may be negotiated and may rise after a probation period has been successfully completed.

The Role

As an Early Years Apprentice, you will support children’s learning and daily care, including play-based activities, routines such as mealtimes and outdoor play, and helping to create a safe and engaging environment. You will also observe children’s progress and learn from qualified staff as you build your skills and confidence over the 14-month programme.

Who We’re Looking For

We welcome school or college leavers, career changers, and those with some childcare experience. Applicants should ideally have GCSE Maths and English (or be willing to work towards them as part of the apprenticeship). A positive attitude, reliability, and a genuine interest in working with children are essential.
