Vacancy for a Site Based Skilled Forklift Technician operating at one of our prestige Customer sites in the Llanelli area. An important role within our business, working in a team of four with Shift Patterns of Days and Afternoons and 2 Weekends in 6. This shift pattern and Tier 1 Site attracts the following benefits:
- A Competitive Salary.
- 15% surplus for days worked on a Tier 1 site.
- An attractive 15% shift allowance on top of your basic wage. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
Job description:
- Service, maintenance, fault finding and repair of forklift trucks and associated material handling & access equipment.
- Accurately completing service reports, timesheets, LOLER, and reporting of defects.
- Identification of and first-time fixing of faults/repairs.
- Maintain company vehicles to a high standard.
- Call out/Overtime may be required.
- Working to all Health & Safety processes, policies & procedures as set out by the company and its training providers.
- You will ideally have a proven track record in forklift trucks or be from a transferrable skills industry such as Plant, Agricultural equipment, HGV, or Automotive background looking for a new and exciting role within a close-knit growing business.
- Experience in I.C. engines would be an advantage.
