This role will focus on delivering impactful systems implementation projects that enhance warehousing and supply chain efficiencies. About the Role As Project Manager, you will oversee the full lifecycle of critical system implementation projects, ensuring effective integration and alignment with business needs. This position is essential to the ongoing success of the company’s logistics operations and involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to leverage technology for enhanced performance and accuracy. Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end implementation of warehouse management systems (WMS) and related supply chain technologies, covering vendor selection, configuration, testing, go-live, and post-implementation support. Develop comprehensive project plans, maintain progress updates, and ensure deadlines and budgets are adhered to. Work closely with IT, operations, and external vendors to deliver effective, efficient system integration. Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to address any project challenges. Facilitate workshops and training sessions to ensure systems meet operational requirements and users are fully supported. Regularly report on project milestones, KPIs, and resource needs to senior management. Champion continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to best practice documentation for future projects. About You We’re looking for a skilled project manager with extensive experience in managing system implementations within warehousing, logistics, or supply chain environments. The successful candidate will bring expertise in WMS or similar technologies, coupled with strong communication and analytical skills. Key skills and attributes include: Demonstrable experience leading system implementations, ideally with warehouse management systems (WMS) or similar supply chain solutions. Strong knowledge of warehouse and supply chain processes. Excellent project management skills with a focus on planning, timeline management, and resource allocation. Strong communication skills, adept at liaising with both technical and operational teams. Relevant project management certifications (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP) are beneficial but not required. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to risk management.
