About the company

Our client is a specialist technology consultancy working with contractors and real estate businesses. They combine project management and financial systems to help complex construction businesses operate more efficiently. The Finance Practice is growing and this hire is central to that.

The role

You will own the Sage Intacct workstream end-to-end across construction and real estate client engagements — from discovery through to go-live and hypercare. You will work directly with senior finance and operational stakeholders, translating complex requirements into configured, integrated solutions. A background in construction or project-based environments is essential. CRE experience is a strong differentiator.

What you will do

  • Lead end-to-end Intacct implementations: scoping, configuration, data migration, UAT, training, and post go-live support
  • Configure across GL, AP, AR, Project Accounting, Dimensions, Reporting, Workflows, and Approval Hierarchies
  • Design and validate integrations between Intacct and third-party project management platforms
  • Lead workshops with Finance Directors, Financial Controllers, and senior operational stakeholders
  • Manage data migration including validation, cleansing, and client sign-off
  • Contribute to pre-sales, solutioning, and practice development
  • Support and mentor junior consultants

Skills and experience

Essential

  • 3+ years hands-on Sage Intacct implementation experience with end-to-end ownership
  • Sage Intacct certification
  • Deep configuration knowledge across core Intacct modules
  • Experience in construction, contractor, or project-based environments
  • Confident leading workshops independently with senior finance stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
