SWG Construction is looking for a bright, organised and confident person to join our construction office in a varied project support and administration role. This role could suit someone at the start of their career, a college leaver, a graduate, an apprentice, or someone with previous office, customer service, or administration experience. The level of responsibility and salary will depend on the successful candidate’s experience, capability and agreed training route.

The successful candidate will support our office and contracts teams with a wide range of tasks, including:

  • Answering calls
  • General administration
  • Project reports
  • Meeting minutes
  • Training and accommodation bookings
  • New starter inductions
  • Vehicle records
  • Internal events

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Organised and reliable
  • Confident speaking to people by phone and in person
  • Friendly, professional and willing to learn
  • Good with written communication
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office
  • Able to manage several tasks at once
  • Interested in developing a long-term career

Previous construction experience is not essential. For the right person, we may support an apprenticeship or further qualification, with potential progression into project support, office coordination, compliance, commercial support or construction administration.
