About Us: We are an established, family-owned main contractor with a strong track record of delivering fast-track industrial, commercial, and residential projects throughout Mid & North Wales, Shropshire, Herefordshire, and the West Midlands. With secured frameworks, a robust pipeline, and continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager with a strong Quantity Surveying background to lead our commercial team.

The Role: As Commercial Manager, you will oversee our team of Quantity Surveyors and Buyers, managing cost control, financial reporting, and procurement across several live projects. You will play a key role in shaping our commercial strategy and will collaborate closely with the Board of Directors. We predominantly work with JCT Design & Build and NEC contracts.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing commercial aspects of construction projects valued between £1m and £10m
  • Essential Quantity Surveying background
  • In-depth knowledge of JCT D&B and NEC3/NEC4 contracts
  • Experienced in leading CVRs, managing cash flow, and final account negotiations
  • MRICS or MCIOB qualification or working towards professional accreditation
  • Confident, proactive, and collaborative leadership style
