Responsibilities:
- Undertaking cleaning duties, including outside of clinical activity hours (early mornings or evenings if required).
- Assisting with catering tasks as required.
- Working flexibly across departments when needed.
- Supporting the team with a positive and proactive approach, to provide a high-quality domestic service to patients, staff and visitors, maintaining a clean and safe environment in accordance with the specification.
- Flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of the hospital.
- Previous experience is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.
- You will play an important role in enhancing patient care and experience by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and offering friendly, reliable support throughout the hospital.
About the Role:
We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic individual to join our Facilities team as a Multiskilled Catering and Domestic Assistant. The role involves a combination of catering and domestic duties, contributing to a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for patients and staff. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Company Overview:
SWFT Clinical Services is a wholly owned subsidiary of the South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust (SWFT). The company provides a number of services such as outpatient pharmacy facilities at Warwick and Stratford and Nuneaton hospitals; estates and facilities management at Stratford hospital, Acorn House and Lillington Health Hub; private patient service and consultancy services to NHS Trusts.
Benefits & Compensation:
- Subject to the Company and individual’s performance, an annual discretionary bonus will be awarded.
- There is automatic enrolment to the Company pension scheme, with the Company contributing 5%.
