We are seeking two experienced Registered Building Inspectors to join us as Building Control Managers (BCM) - one based in Cornwall, one based in Devon. We are an independent Registered Building Control Approver focused on technical competence, regulatory integrity, and long-term professional relationships. We operate as a regulatory body; quality over volume, professional independence, and a system-led approach that ensures every project is delivered to the highest standard.
These are regional roles with real ownership: our Cornwall BCM will primarily focus on delivery across Cornwall including the Isles of Scilly; our Devon BCM can be based in a specific area such as Exeter, Taunton, or Torbay. Both roles have the flexibility to work across the wider South West and beyond as the business develops.
You will hold:
- a Class 2 RBI registration or above
- solid independent delivery experience across a range of project types
- professional confidence, commercial awareness, and motivation to take ownership of a role within a business that does things properly.
This is an opportunity to build something - your experience, your region, your clients.
We offer:
- a competitive salary
- an elevated benefits package
- a flexible, self-managed working environment.
The profession is changing, and we are building a business around the principles that matter most: quality, independence, consistency, and public protection.
