Position Summary This is more than a sales role – it\’s an opportunity to be a strategic partner to some of the UK’s top supermarket, retail, and hospitality brands. Working closely with clients like Tesco, you’ll lead the journey from traditional heating systems to future-proof, energy-efficient solutions. You’ll have the chance to manage high-profile relationships, influence large-scale building projects, and be rewarded with quarterly incentives worth up to 20% of your salary annually. Main Duties And Responsibilities Strategic Account Development: Identify and develop key accounts across sectors such as supermarkets, retail groups, hotels, and property development firms. Build trusted relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders in large end-user organizations. Create tailored decarbonization strategies using Swegon’s innovative product portfolio. Develop customer account dashboards and manage relationships from concept to commissioning and optimization. Collaboration & Communication: Act as a vital link between the customer and our internal technical, sales, and product teams. Work alongside our technical sales team in a team-selling environment to meet customer needs. Maintain CRM activity (Microsoft Dynamics) and ensure seamless knowledge sharing across departments. Performance and Reporting: Take ownership of key accounts’ sales performance, margins, and growth potential. Deliver regular forecasts and performance updates to internal stakeholders. Continuously identify opportunities to expand the account through cross-functional collaboration. About You You\’re a natural relationship-builder, commercially astute, and driven by long-term partnerships rather than quick wins. You’re excited by the idea of working directly with high-profile clients to support decarbonisation and energy efficiency goals, and you bring a strong network within the built environment sector. You understand the dynamics of large organisations and know how to navigate complex buying processes with procurement teams and senior stakeholders. You’re collaborative, proactive, and ready to represent a brand that stands for innovation, quality, and sustainability. Essential Experience & Qualifications 5+ years experience in a similar role (Key Account Management, Technical Sales, Business Development) Strong background in building-related products – HVAC, building services, construction or similar Proven track record managing complex accounts and customer relationships Comfortable working with CRM platforms, ideally Microsoft Dynamics Commercially astute with strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills Willingness to travel across the UK (especially to London) to support client engagement Fluent proficiency in spoken and written English. Knowledge of HVAC systems or related technical products Desirable Experience & Qualifications Degree-qualified in a business or technical discipline Experience having products specified by engineering consultants or end users’ design teams Familiarity with decarbonization, net zero targets, or energy efficiency projects Experience in a manufacturing or project-led environment Why Join Swegon?
