As we continue to grow, we are looking for a commercially minded Marketing Executive to help strengthen our brand, support business development and enhance our position as a market leader.

The Opportunity

This is a standalone marketing role offering genuine ownership and variety. Reporting directly to the leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering marketing activity that supports the company's strategic objectives and commercial growth. Working closely with colleagues across the business and the Commercial Team, you will develop and implement the annual marketing plan, manage our digital presence, produce high-quality marketing materials, support tender submissions, coordinate events and exhibitions, and ensure the Sweeptech brand is represented professionally across every customer touchpoint. Key Responsibilities

  • Marketing Strategy & Brand
    • Support the development and delivery of the company's marketing strategy and annual marketing plan, ensuring alignment with business objectives, commercial priorities and growth targets.
    • Work closely with the Commercial Team and senior leadership to ensure marketing activity supports business development and commercial growth.
    • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging industry developments, making recommendations that strengthen Sweeptech's market position.
    • Maintain and develop Sweeptech's brand identity, ensuring consistency across all communications and customer touchpoints.
    • Identify opportunities to raise the company's profile through trade publications, industry awards, customer success stories and media coverage.
    • Coordinate relationships with external agencies, designers, printers and media partners to ensure high-quality and cost-effective marketing delivery.
    • Maintain the company's marketing assets, including image libraries, templates, logos and brand guidelines.
  • Digital Marketing
    • Manage and continually improve the company website, ensuring content remains accurate, engaging and optimised for search engines and customer experience.
    • Manage Sweeptech's digital presence, including LinkedIn and other relevant platforms, ensuring consistent messaging across all divisions.
    • Plan and deliver digital marketing campaigns that support lead generation, customer retention and brand awareness.
    • Develop and maintain the annual marketing calendar, coordinating campaigns, events and communications throughout the year.
    • Monitor and report on marketing performance using agreed KPIs, website analytics, campaign performance and return on investment, making recommendations for continual improvement.
  • Business Development Support
    • Produce high-quality marketing collateral including brochures, presentations, case studies, capability statements and technical literature.
    • Support the preparation of professional tender and bid submissions through compelling marketing content and consistent branding.
    • Work closely with operational and commercial teams to develop customer success stories, project case studies and technical content.
    • Design and manage customer satisfaction surveys, analysing feedback and presenting recommendations that improve customer experience and support business growth.
  • Communications, Reporting & Events
    • Lead internal communications in partnership with senior leadership, including the production of the quarterly company newsletter.
    • Build relationships with industry publications, trade organisations and media partners to promote Sweeptech's expertise and market-leading capabilities.
    • Plan and coordinate exhibitions, conferences, customer events and corporate hospitality activities.
    • Manage the company's promotional merchandise programme, ensuring products reflect the Sweeptech brand and deliver value for money.
    • Produce weekly and monthly marketing performance reports, analysing campaign activity, website performance, customer engagement and lead generation.
    • Analyse marketing, sales and customer data to identify trends and opportunities, producing reports and presentations to support business decision-making.
    • Provide guidance to colleagues on brand standards, social media best practice and effective digital communications.

About You

You will be an enthusiastic, creative and organised individual who is keen to develop your marketing career and make a genuine contribution to a growing business. You will enjoy taking ownership, working collaboratively and bringing new ideas to the team. This role would suit a recent marketing graduate, someone who has completed a placement year or internship, or an early-career marketing professional looking to take the next step in their career.

You will ideally have:

  • A degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related discipline, or equivalent marketing experience.
  • Some experience of marketing through employment, an internship, placement year or university projects.
  • An understanding of digital marketing, including websites, social media and marketing analytics.
  • Excellent written, verbal and visual communication skills with a strong eye for detail.
  • Good organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with confidence working with data and producing reports.
  • Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach with a willingness to learn and develop.
  • The confidence to build positive relationships with colleagues, customers and external suppliers.
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience using WordPress, Google Analytics (GA4), LinkedIn, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar design software would be advantageous but is not essential, as training will be provided for the right candidate.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm (with 1 hour for lunch)
