Due to our continued growth, we are currently looking for an experienced Class 2 Road Sweeper driver working from our Barnsley Depot on day and night shifts. Truck parking location is at the Barnsley Depot.
Tasks include mainly operating Mechanical Road Sweepers. If you believe you have the skills and a positive attitude to help us continue to grow, we want to hear from you.
Hours of work will be 50 hours, Monday to Friday, with the opportunity for overtime and weekend work paid at competitive rates. There are also opportunities for permanent night shifts.
What will you be doing?
- Operating one of our many specialist vehicles at customer sites/areas collecting various waste streams from the Barnsley Depot.
- Completing daily vehicle and equipment checks.
- Ensuring all paperwork is kept up to date and submitted daily in accordance with company policy.
- Complying with all traffic laws and legislation.
- Exceeding our customers' expectations.
What are we looking for?
- HGV Road Sweeper experience is essential.
- Up to date DCPC - We can also support your training.
- Digital Tacho Card.
- A can-do attitude.
- A team player.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £40,976.00 per year for day shifts; £46,280.00 per year for night shifts.
Benefits: Company pension, Competitive Salary.
Schedule: 10 hour shift, Day shift.
Experience: Driving: 1 year (required).
Licence/Certification: Driver CPC (preferred), Category C Licence (required).
