Sweco Building Control are the leading Building Control consultancy in England and Wales, providing market-leading expertise as a Registered Building Control Approver since 1998. We operate a hybrid model, typically 3 days in the office or on site and 2 days at home depending on site visits and client meetings.

What does the role involve? You’ll manage a broad and interesting range of projects as a member of a highly motivated team and have responsibility for the following:

• Undertaking plan checks submitted for Building Regulation approval.
• Undertaking site visits, preparing site visit reports, witnessing tests (a full, valid driving licence is essential).
• Attending client and design team meetings to provide professional advice regarding building control work.
• Familiarity with and use of the management systems, including compliance with the Quality Management system.
• Operating in accordance with the commercial requirements of projects (costs and programme).
