We are recruiting for the November 2026 cohort on our Early Careers Graduate Scheme. We are looking for a Graduate Hydrogeologist to join our Water department and support a growing team of hydrogeologists, hydrologists, flood risk and sustainable drainage experts, hydraulic modellers, geomorphologists, civil engineers and water quality specialists. As a Graduate Hydrogeologist you will be involved in projects such as long‑term investigations of pesticides, nitrates, saline intrusion and water resources, supporting major highway schemes and private developers. You will support the delivery of projects from planning and design through construction and post‑completion.
Responsibilities
- Assist with project delivery tasks including office‑based feasibility and design work, site investigations and construction support.
- Provide day‑to‑day technical input as part of a team of engineers and technicians.
- Ensure your research and design output is completed in accordance with the scope of work, time‑scales and budgets.
- Work in close collaboration with colleagues from other disciplines to deliver project requirements and add value to the client.
Requirements
- Have a degree in a subject relevant to the role.
- Have less than 12 months of relevant work experience (excluding placements).
- Be confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint).
- Be driven and solution‑oriented.
- Be able to work in the UK with no restrictions.
