We are recruiting a Civil Engineering Apprentice to dive into water engineering. This role is based in Glasgow and requires 4 days in the office and 1 day at college. Apprentices will spend approximately 80% of the time on project work and 20% studying, learning from experienced professionals and working on projects from inception to detailed design.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in all stages of water engineering projects, from inception to detail design.
  • Support water disciplines on landmark projects and broaden expertise across national and regional schemes.
  • Maintain excellent attention to detail and collaborate with team members.
  • Engage in continuous learning and develop technical expertise.
  • Challenge conventional thinking and work collaboratively on diverse business, environmental, and regulatory challenges.

Qualifications

  • Interest and basic understanding of Civil Engineering, with desire to progress a career in Water.

  • Legal right to work in the UK with no restrictions.
  • Willingness to work in the office on non‑study days.
