    • Ensuring the technical accuracy of all work completed within agreed timelines and budgets.
    • Adhering to the Company’s Integrated Management Systems (IMS) in all tasks.
    • Providing technical guidance, support, and training to colleagues, and assisting in the mentoring and development of junior team members.
    • Collaborating closely with colleagues from other disciplines.
    • Participating in the preparation and presentation of proposals and bids, including estimating timescales and costs for proposed works.

To be successful in this role you’ll possess:

  • A degree in a relevant discipline, with a commitment to professional development and recognition as a Transport Planning/Engineering Professional (CTPP qualification or equivalent) or evidence of progression towards this.
  • A background in transport planning, contributing to high-profile projects, with knowledge in areas such as business case development, scheme feasibility, transport assessments, and strategy development.

  • Ability to develop Transport Assessments, Transport Statements, Travel Plan, and strategy documents, adhering to national, regional and local policy and guidance.
  • Excellent written communication skills, with proven experience in producing clear and effective reports.
  • Strong verbal communication skills, with a background in interacting with clients, communicating to a non-technical audience, and balancing differing client priorities.
  • A creative, solution-oriented mindset that considers multiple perspectives to solve problems.
  • The capacity to manage tasks efficiently, ensuring outputs meet programme, budget, and quality controls, while being adaptable to handle a varied workload and embrace new technologies.
  • Proven organisational and prioritisation skills to meet deadlines, along with experience in the financial and technical management of projects.
