Electrical Project Engineer

Join our Building Services design team in our Maidenhead office. You’ll be part of a multi-disciplinary department providing detailed Building Services designs for projects across the UK and overseas. This role can be worked flexibly with a minimum of three days per week in the office/on site and the option of adjusted start and finish times.

What does the role involve?

  • Undertaking outline and detailed designs and specifications for electrical works.
  • Providing day-to-day technical input as part of a team of engineers and technicians.
  • Ensuring design output is completed in accordance with the agreed scope of works, timescales and budgets.
  • Working in close collaboration with colleagues from other disciplines as required to deliver project requirements and added value to the client.
  • Attending design and site meetings.

To be successful in this role you’ll possess:

  • A degree in Building Services Engineering (or equivalent) and chartered status (or be working towards achieving chartered status) with a relevant professional institution.
  • A good working knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, Clash Detection and Amtech.
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role with strong project management skills.
  • The ability to manage a variety of projects meeting varying deadlines.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills working alongside architects and contractors to consider problems and come up with innovative solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to adapt your style to your audience.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the UK construction market.
