We’re Sweco. We’re Europe’s leading design, engineering, environment and regulatory consultancy and we are currently looking for a talented and motivated Senior Transport Planner to join our team. This role will be based in our Edinburgh office and can be worked flexibly, with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office and the option of adjusted start and finish times.
The successful candidate will help deliver a range of transport planning projects and contribute to business development. In this role, you'll be working within a collaborative team environment. You'll support the delivery of a wide variety of projects within our growing Transport Planning team and you’ll be involved in a range of activities from bidding through to client management and technical delivery.
You will be working on a diverse portfolio of projects including scheme appraisals, business case development, feasibility studies, accessibility analysis, stakeholder engagement and strategy development.
What does the role involve?
You will be leading the delivery of a wide variety of project transport planning and project delivery tasks for a range of public and private sector clients. You will work alongside our team of transport planners as well as engineers, planners, and environmental scientists as part of our multi-disciplinary delivery teams.
Core duties will include:
- Contributing to various Transport Planning projects, such as transport appraisal, business cases, sustainable travel, stakeholder and public consultation, monitoring.
