Sweco Building Control are the leading Building Control consultancy in England and Wales, providing market-leading expertise as a Registered Building Control Approver since 1998.

We are currently looking for motivated Class 2 and 3 Building Inspectors to join our team.
We we operate a hybrid model which for us means typically 3 days in the office or on site and 2 days at home (depending on the need for site visits/clients meetings).
What does the role involve?
You'll manage a broad and interesting range of projects where you will be a member of a highly motivated team and have responsibility for:
- Undertaking plan checks submitted for Building Regulation approval.
- Undertaking site visits, preparing site visit reports, witnessing tests (therefore a full, valid driving licence is essential).
- Attending client and design team meetings to give professional advice regarding building control work.
- Be familiar with and use the management systems, including complying with the Quality Management system.
- Operating in accordance with the commercial requirements of the projects (costs and programme).
