The Wholesale Operations Manager is a key position responsible for ensuring the seamless operational performance of Sweaty Betty’s global wholesale business. Reporting to the Wholesale Director, the role acts as the day‑to‑day operational lead, managing order management, fulfilment accuracy, partner experience, and cross‑functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Leadership & Coordination
    • Lead the daily execution of the wholesale process across multiple partners, ensuring on‑time and accurate delivery.
    • Supervise the Wholesale Operations Executive to prioritise workload and adhere to service standards.
    • Monitor order flow from creation to fulfilment, identifying and resolving issues proactively.
    • Ensure trading terms, pricing, and delivery conditions are correctly applied in all transactions.
    • Support the Wholesale Director in driving operational improvements and embedding global best practice.
  • Order Management & Fulfilment
    • Oversee end‑to‑end order processing including order creation, allocation, shipment tracking, and invoicing.
    • Liaise closely with Distribution and Logistics teams to manage fulfilment timelines and troubleshoot delivery issues.
    • Partner with Customer Service to ensure accurate communication with wholesale partners and timely resolution of queries.
    • Track OTIF (On‑Time‑In‑Full) performance, identify root causes of shortfalls, and implement corrective actions.
    • Maintain strong awareness of key delivery windows and product launches to support sales execution.
  • Process & Data Integrity
    • Maintain accuracy of data across ERP and B2B platforms, including pricing, terms, and product information.
    • Support implementation of operational process improvements to enhance efficiency, visibility, and control.
    • Maintain order documentation and ensure compliance with trading, invoicing, and audit requirements.
    • Monitor inventory status and liaise with Planning to align stock availability to partner requirements.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration
    • Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Product, and Marketing teams to align operational delivery with commercial priorities.
    • Partner with the Operations Manager or Head of Operations on system enhancements, reporting tools, and performance dashboards.
    • Support preparation of performance summaries, fulfilment reports, and partner scorecards.
    • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process reviews across global operations.
  • Team Leadership & Development
    • Provide daily guidance and support to the Wholesale Operations Executive.
    • Ensure clear allocation of tasks, adherence to process, and development of operational capability.
    • Support onboarding, training, and performance management of the Administrator.
    • Foster a collaborative and accountable culture within the operational team.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • OTIF (On‑Time‑In‑Full) performance across all accounts, including quarterly shipment trackers.
  • Accuracy and timeliness of order processing and invoicing.
  • Partner satisfaction and service‑level feedback.
  • Data accuracy within ERP/B2B systems.
  • Resolution time for operational queries or delivery issues.
  • Process adherence and compliance metrics.
  • Team engagement and Administrator development.

Experience & Profile

  • 3–5 years of experience in wholesale, 3P, or retail operations within fashion, sportswear, or lifestyle brands.
  • Strong working knowledge of order management, fulfilment, and operational processes.
  • Experience working cross‑functionally with Sales, Logistics, Finance, and Customer Service teams.
  • High attention to detail and data accuracy within ERP or B2B systems (SAP preferred).
  • Proactive problem‑solver with excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Confident handling multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, international environment.
  • Team leadership or supervisory experience advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Excel and data reporting tools.
