The Human Resources Generalist coordinates business objectives with employees and management in designated functional areas within Wolverine Worldwide. Key focus areas include employee engagement, employee relations, HR processes, compliance, total rewards, and talent planning. The role also supports Human Resource leadership and assists with project management and program development.
Primary Duties- Coordinate with assigned business units and provide guidance on all aspects of Human Resources.
- Support the implementation of HR solutions that meet business needs in collaboration with HR leadership.
- Assist with analysis, research, and special projects.
- Provide day‑to‑day talent management guidance to management and employees, including coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary actions.
- Act as a liaison between management and employees for matters of employee relations, talent management, learning & development, talent acquisition, and total rewards.
- Administer HR policies and programs for the assigned facility or functional group, ensuring fair and consistent application.
- Utilize and support human resource systems and tools for talent management, performance management, reporting, and staffing.
- Coordinate training needs and implement training solutions in partnership with the Learning & Organizational Development team.
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee and HR‐related requests and questions.
- Coordinate hourly and salaried hiring practices to ensure appropriate staffing levels and hire qualified, engaged individuals.
- Assist with pre‑screening, interviewing, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
- Perform duties in line with the company’s AAP/EEO goals and policies.
- Perform additional duties as required by management.

- Knowledge of UK & Republic of Ireland Employment Law.
- Experience with HRIS systems such as Workday (a plus).
- Advanced computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
