Focusing on both content elevation and the fine tuning of creative and production processes through styling, you will be a driving force and proactive leader in the delivery of inspiring, creative and efficiently produced product and brand assets!
The Global Brand Style Editor is a pivotal creative leadership role responsible for defining and executing the brand’s visual identity through hands-on styling across all content creation channels. This role ensures the highest standards of styling are consistently delivered across e-commerce, lookbooks, campaigns, and social content. The Global Brand Style Editor will lead the styling team, oversee all styling briefs, and collaborate cross-functionally to elevate the brand’s presence and drive commercial success.
Key Responsibilities
Styling Leadership & Execution
- Lead the execution of all styling briefs across studio and on-location shoots, including Primary, Secondary, Still Life, Look Book, Social and PDP content.
- Oversee the seasonal refresh of brand styling identity, ensuring alignment across the business.
- Style lookbooks with a focus on both brand storytelling and wholesale needs.
- Continue the implementation of “alternative ways to wear” styling for PDP to enhance customer engagement and drive sales.
Creative Direction & Collaboration
- Partner with the Global Brand Photographer to define and sign off on art direction, lighting, and HMU for e-commerce shoots, including testing for future changes.
- Partner with Global Creative Lead and Global Brand Photographer on execution of Styling and Art Direction on Secondary Creative shoots.
- Collaborate with Product/Buying teams to ensure styling reflects product functionality and brand quality.
- Collaborate with Visual Merchandising to align Styling across Primary campaign shoots to the in-store experience.
- Support performance marketing and social content briefs with styling that aligns with brand vision.
- Contribute to marketing agency briefs and wholesale partner discussions on all projects involving Styling input and execution.
Team & Talent Management
- Oversee and mentor the Stylist(s), ensuring on-set styling meets KPIs and supports development through creative opportunities, research and shoot prep.
- Support is provided for shoot prep, additional looks, and motion styling.
- Lead model selection in collaboration with Production, ensuring diversity and alignment with seasonal product stories.
- Build and maintain a strong in-house styling team and freelance talent pool.
Quality Assurance & Innovation
- Work with the Head of Studio & Production to embed efficient workflows and prepare for sample workflow system and motion capture integration.
- Conduct QA checks on all imagery for styling accuracy and brand consistency.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activity to ensure the brand remains innovative and relevant.
- React to styling and sales feedback, incorporating learnings into future briefs.
The Must Haves
- Minimum of 6 years’ in-house experience in a similar role.
- Proven experience in Fashion and Activewear styling, with portfolio highlighting lookbook, campaign, e-commerce, still life and personal creative.
- Passion for Sweaty Betty and knowledge of female activewear market.
- Strong leadership and team development skills.
- Confident communicator – able to work collaboratively across varying levels of seniority within the business to a shared goal.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to fast-paced environments.
- Excellent eye for detail and understanding of brand aesthetics.
- Experience and confidence leading creative and on-location shoots in the capacity of Stylist with varying sizes of crew.
- Confident in art direction, model casting, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Awareness of evolution of marketing and content practices.
- Creative and pro-active thinker.
- Microsoft Office.
- Strong organisation skills and a hands-on, can-do approach.
- Knowledge of Capture and Adobe CC packages.
- Must be flexible and able to adapt change.
