Love vintage clothing and looking for a hands-on, behind the scenes role? We're looking for reliable, motivated, and detail-oriented individuals to join the Sweatstash team. This role focuses on practical, structured studio tasks and suits someone who takes pride in doing things properly.

You don't need years of experience — but you do need a strong work ethic, good time management, and excellent attention to detail. We're looking for someone who values routine, works accurately, and consistently completes tasks to a high standard within a small, focused team. This position is well suited to someone who enjoys being trusted with responsibility and contributing to the smooth day to day running of a small business.

About Us

Based in Stockport, Greater Manchester, Sweatstash is an online vintage clothing store with over 25,000 sales on Depop. We specialise in retro sportswear and vintage streetwear - from sweatshirts and track pants to ski apparel and Y2K denim.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Steaming and preparing clothing items for photography
  • Measuring items accurately
  • Picking out customer orders
  • Keeping the studio clean, tidy, and organised
  • Assisting with creative social media content (primarily on Fridays)

Working Hours

Part-time, 14-18 hours per week. Weekly schedule as follows:

  • Mondays & Tuesdays: 9:00am – 4:30pm (Core studio days focused on steaming, measuring, and preparing stock)
  • Every other Friday: approx. 11:00am – 3:00pm (Lighter studio tasks and social media shoots/content)

Friday hours may vary slightly and will be confirmed in advance. Applicants must be able to reliably commit to the scheduled days and times.
