What You’ll Be Launching

Slingshot Aerospace is looking for a Senior Finance Manager to support the continued growth of our international business.

In this role, you will directly support the General Manager of Slingshot International and be responsible for the daily finance and business operations.

As the finance lead for our international business, you will assist in preparing the business to scale globally.

You will be responsible for budgeting, financial planning, pricing strategy, compliance, and financial reporting, working alongside the wider finance function under the CFO.

This role is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who has operated as a finance manager or senior analyst within a department or business unit and is ready to take the next step into broader financial leadership.

While this is not a CFO role, it offers exposure to many of the responsibilities associated with leading finance for a growing business unit.

  • Your Mission (Should you choose to accept it)
  • Be the finance lead for the General Manager of Slingshot International, providing financial insight to support operational and strategic decisions
  • Establish the financial foundation for the international business and prepare it for scaling
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
  • Support pricing strategy and financial modeling for international programs and products
  • Ensure financial compliance with company policies, international regulations, and reporting standards
  • Collaborate with the broader finance team to align reporting, controls, and processes
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support growth and decision-making
  • Help establish scalable financial processes and reporting in the first 3–6 months

  • 6+ years of experience in finance, FP&A, financial operations, or similar
  • Experience managing budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting for a business unit or function
  • Strong understanding of P&L management, financial planning, and operational finance
  • Experience partnering with business leaders on strategic and operational decisions
  • Ability to operate independently while collaborating with distributed teams
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into insights
  • Excellent communication skills across finance and non-finance stakeholders
  • Bonus Cargo
  • Experience supporting international or multi-entity operations
  • Experience in aerospace, defense, government contracting, technology, or high-growth startups
  • Experience building financial processes or reporting frameworks
  • Familiarity with pricing models, rate development, or contract-based revenue
  • Experience with cross-border financial reporting or compliance
