Job Description
Role and Responsibilities
- Use specialised polishing and grinding equipment to carry out refurbishment of watch cases and bracelets, ensuring compliance with brand guidelines and quality standards.
- Operate and maintain equipment according to company and health and safety (HS) requirements.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all company and health and safety (HS) requirements.
- Meet individual performance targets and department service level agreements (SLAs), ensuring productivity and efficiency.
- Maintain clear, professional communication with colleagues, supervisors, and managers to ensure smooth workflow and prompt resolution of any issues.
- Continuously develop skills and knowledge related to product releases or developments.
- Collaborate with team members to share knowledge, techniques, and best practices, fostering a cooperative and supportive working environment.
- Support other areas of the workshop as required, including some product cleaning duties relating to the polishing processes.
Professional Requirements
Desirable Skills and Experience
- An interest in horology/watchmaking with long-term ambitions to develop a career.
- Experience in a customer centric environment.
- Worked in a production environment.
Desirable Qualifications
- Formal polishing qualification (i.e. WOSTEP).
- Other watch or jewellery polishing courses.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum of 5 GCSE A-C including English and Maths.
