Job Description
Sales
- Greet and serve all customers, providing fast, friendly service.
- Be familiar with the product range, past and present, to provide detailed information to customers.
- Ensure good knowledge of all functions of watches and other Swatch products.
- Provide reliable information regarding guaranteed and after-sales service.
- Assist in displaying merchandise as directed.
- Contribute to achieving the store\’s monthly sales targets.
- Oversee colleagues on the shop floor to ensure best practices, providing on-the-spot feedback.
Security
- Help control shrinkage through attentive actions on the shop floor, merchandise handling, accident prevention, and careful operation of the till.
- Maintain awareness of products and security hot spots.
- Follow company policies for opening/closing the store.
- Handle all transactions responsibly and securely.
Reporting
- Accurately report all administration and stock control activities.
- Compile sales figures.
- Communicate any store issues in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Manager.
Care of the Store
- Keep the store clean and presentable at all times.
- Delegate tasks to colleagues to ensure productivity during peak times.
Communication
- Adhere to company policies and regulations.
- Attend and potentially lead briefing sessions.
- Communicate confidently at all levels within the store and with wider teams.
- Present oneself professionally to customers and colleagues, ensuring clear communication.
- Be aware of international customer customs and cultures.
Product Knowledge
- Attend regular training programs.
- Confidently deliver product knowledge and train colleagues on collections.
- Take responsibility to understand new products and apply training.
- Provide excellent product knowledge to customers.
Other
- Undertake duties as directed by the line manager.
- Act in a more senior capacity when necessary.
- Assist in leading and inspiring colleagues.
- Maintain service standards and behaviors aligned with Swatch guidelines.
