When someone calls 999, you will be their first point of contact in a medical emergency. Based in our Exeter Control Room, you will listen, assess and respond with care – capturing vital information, offering reassurance and ensuring every patient gets the right care at the right time. The role is part-time 24/7 365 days a year. Flexibility will be considered through a flexible working application.

Responsibilities

  • Listen to emergency 999 calls and assess patient situation.
  • Capture and record vital information accurately.
  • Offer reassurance and support to callers.
  • Coordinate with ambulance services to ensure timely dispatch of the correct response.
  • Operate within the control room environment for 24/7 shifts.

Qualifications

  • Age 18-30 years.
  • Based in the United Kingdom with the right to work.
  • Right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship).
