Swarthmore Care Home is an independent not-for-profit care home set in beautiful, landscaped gardens in the desirable village of Gerrards Cross providing high quality person-centered care for residential and dementia care.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our kitchen team.
The role requires making light meals for residents, assisting Chef with food prep and washing up etc. You will be required to work alone in the kitchen from 3pm -8pm ensuring meals are served to residents (with carers help) and the kitchen is closed down following the correct protocol, each day.
2 x days p/week (some weekend work required) hours between 11.30am – 8pm with ½ an hour unpaid break.
A good communicator with a can-do friendly attitude. Experience of working in a commercial kitchen is not essential, however demonstrable transferable skills will be strongly considered.
