We’re looking for a Wholesale Account Manager, successfully driving sales and implementing a sustainable growth strategy with wholesale accounts.
The jobholder is mainly responsible for maintaining relationship with existing accounts (80% scope) and finding opportunities to grow new business development (20%).
- About Job
- Fostering an ongoing dialogue with the accounts (multi-chain retailers, online, independent retailers), gaining access to key decision makers, keeping abreast of the customer’s business goals to establish a long-term relationship and to make them advocates of our offering.
- Regularly supporting the customer through delivery and implementation processes and conducts effective success reviews with the customer, including regular national store visits.
- Taking accountability for revenue growth, budgets and forecasts accuracy, new business conversions, applying commercial thinking to margins and pricing.
- Anticipating risks, identifying opportunities and developing innovative solutions to help accounts achieve strategic business objectives.
- Looking for new business opportunities and customers aligned with the wholesale strategy to ensure that the pipeline is always full.
- Assessing the potential value of new and existing account and taking a systematic approach to convert the potential into sales.
About You
- Minimum of 5 years in a similar role; ideally within jewellery & accessories.
- Exceptional communication skills, ability to persuade and influence.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Ideally London-based or within a commutable distance to London Area.
- Commercial awareness with ability to think outside the box.
- Willingness to travel.
- Proactive, energetic and hands‑on working attitude.
- Working knowledge of Excel; previous experience in SAP would be considered an advantage.
