About the Role

Due to continued growth, our client is looking to recruit a Mortgage Case Manager to join their specialist mortgage team. Working closely with Mortgage Advisers, lenders and customers, you will play a key role in progressing mortgage applications from Decision in Principle (DIP) through to mortgage offer, ensuring each case is managed efficiently, accurately and in line with lender requirements.

As a key point of contact throughout the application process, you'll liaise with all parties to resolve queries, obtain outstanding information and keep applications moving smoothly. Joining a collaborative and supportive team, you'll help deliver an exceptional customer experience while contributing to the continued success and growth of the business.

Working Week

Core working hours will be 37.5 hours per week, 8:30AM to 5:00PM, Monday to Friday.

Essential Experience

  • Proven experience as a Mortgage Case Manager/Mortgage Administrator within a mortgage brokerage, lender or packaging environment
  • Experience progressing mortgage applications from DIP through to Offer
  • Strong understanding of lender requirements and mortgage documentation
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and internal systems

Desired Experience (Not Essential)

  • Experience of processing self-build, renovation or conversion mortgage applications
  • Experience working with specialist or complex mortgage cases
  • CeMAP qualified or working towards qualification

Duties

  • Managing mortgage applications from Decision in Principle through to offer
  • Reviewing applications, financial documents and supporting information
  • Packaging and submitting quality-checked cases to lenders
  • Liaising with customers, Mortgage Advisers and lenders to progress applications
  • Instructing valuations and monitoring case progress through to completion
  • Chasing outstanding information and keeping systems up to date
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an excellent customer experience
