As part of the continued growth of the team, an excellent opportunity has arisen for a Business Manager to provide dedicated support to a Senior Wealth Manager. This is a key role for someone who is highly organised, proactive and commercially minded, with the ability to build strong relationships and operate effectively in a fast‑paced environment.

Working Hours:

  • Hybrid Working - 4 days in office during probation, 3 days thereafter (or more if desired)

Responsibilities:

  • Business Submission

Manage and coordinate cases from end to end dealing with queries and delays Chasing on outstanding documents

Manage withdrawals and drawdown cases Client queries and review meetings

  • Business tracking

Update and monitor including projections and business issued

  • Paraplanning

Paraplanning support including new money cases, EIS/VCT/IHT planning Investment analysis using FE Analytics

Supporting review documentation preparation

  • Project and Business Development

Business Development & Marketing projects concerning existing or prospective clients

Refine BD strategy and cost analysis

  • Training support

Offering ongoing training and support to administrative team members/associates

Efficiency review and process improvement

Essential skills and experience:

  • Experience in financial services administration and case management (SJP experience preferred but not essential)
  • Able to manage cases from start to finish and resolve administrative issues
  • Good knowledge of pensions, investments, protection, drawdown, encashments and DB/Final Salary processes
  • Working knowledge of paraplanning, including new money cases and transfer analysis, IHT, EIS and VCTs
  • Confident using Excel for forecasting and business tracking
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple cases
  • Confident communicating with clients, including providing updates and following up on outstanding information
  • Some experience supporting, training or mentoring junior team members
  • Willing to share knowledge and best practice with colleagues

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • Level 4 Diploma qualified or currently working towards the qualification
  • Previous experience within an SJP Partner Practice
  • Working knowledge of FE Analytics and Voyant
  • Experience supporting business development or analysing client banks
  • Experience identifying and implementing process improvements and operational efficiencies
