What you will do:
- Be the key liaison for quality within the QHSS team, working closely with manufacturing, design, and supply chain to identify potential failures, prevent issues, and drive continuous improvement.
- Developing and implementing quality assurance processes and procedures (including ISO standards and CE/UKCA marking).
- Interpreting detailed engineering drawings and specifications to define quality requirements.
- Analyzing quality performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Conducting root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
- Collaborating with suppliers to ensure incoming materials and services meet specifications.
- Using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies and supporting 5S principles.
- Supporting non-conformance management and ensuring effective resolution.
What we are looking for:
- Degree or HNC/HND in Engineering, Quality Management (or similar) OR experience in a similar Quality Engineer role in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Comfortable using a range of quality tools, techniques, and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949, 8D, FMEA, SPC, PPAP, MSA).
- Experience with ISO auditing (internal or external) preferred.
- Good communication and cross-functional teamwork abilities.
